There are numerous good and, above all, free Android apps for smartphones, but these are refinanced through advertising. These can be annoying, especially on the small display. We’ll show you how to get rid of those annoying banners very quickly.
Actually, you were about to tap something completely different when you caught the stupid banner at the bottom of the app. Quite a few smartphone users with free apps may be familiar with this.
It doesn’t really take a lot of effort to get rid of the advertising banners of various free apps. But remember: The free apps are refinanced through the advertising banners. If everyone were to block the ads, at some point such apps simply won’t exist anymore.
Remove ads with AdAway for Android
One way to remove the ads is to use the AdAway app. As soon as you have downloaded the app, start the application and then tap on the point “Download files and activate the ad blocker”.
It takes a moment for the latest ad blocker files to be downloaded. Then AdAway activates itself, which you can see on the hook.
Advertising banners in most free apps are now suppressed and do not bother you further.
Alternative to delete ads in Android apps
An alternative to AdAway is the AdFree app. This is only slightly more demanding to use but does the job just like AdAway. As soon as you have installed and started the app, it prevents advertisements from being displayed in an interesting way.
AdFree downloads the current ad server data and prevents requests to this ad server on the entire smartphone. This makes it impossible for them to deliver content. In other words, you won’t see any ads in the free apps.
Is that legal?
On the other hand, it is of course the case that no one can control whether you are blocking the advertising. After all, it’s your smartphone too. So you can do what you want with it.
When using such a method, consider another aspect: Many free apps are only refinanced through advertising. If you take away this opportunity for developers, it’s only a matter of time before the app disappears.
